Abstract: Wain village has a staple food sourced from enbal. Nowadays, people in Wain village prefer to consume rice rather than enbal that is sold and partly consumed. Thus, it is important to examine factors affecting the consumption of rice and local food. Sampling was taken by using random sampling method. Data collected were primary data and secondary data. The analysis used was multiple linear regression analysis. Result showed that factors affecting the comsumption of rice were total income, rice price, age, total family members, and education level. Based on multiple regression result of rice consumption, the model of Yb = 9,530 + 0,034 X1 + 0,001 X2 + 0,012 X3 + 5,224 X4 + 1,214 X5was obtained. The Value of R2 was 64.30 percent. The result of t test showed that total revenue, total family members, and education level have a significant impact on rice consumption, while based on result of enbal consumption, the model of Ye = 6,719 + 0,001 X1 + 0,001 X2 +0,010 X3 + 0,755 X4 + 0,011 X5 was obtained. The value of R2 was 65.50 percent. The result of t test showed that total revenue, enbal price, and total family members have a significant impact on enbal consumption.
