| Abstract: | The role of agriculture sector in development in Indonesia is not doubted anymore, especially on the plantation. One of the plantation sectors which has become the prime commodity is nutmeg that has to be made as the main priority. One of the nutmeg production center within this province is located in the village of Hila, Leihitu Sub District, Central Maluku District. Product of nutmegs that is produced by local farmers today is more easier to be exported because of the availability of PT. Ollop as the buyer. PT. Ollop is one of the spices trading industry in Maluku and has a link with European company in conducting export of foley/mace and nutmeg. Therefore it was important to study on nutmeg business feasibility by PT. Ollop in the developing of sustainable nutmeg commodity. This study used survey method. Primary data wasobtained from direct interview with four managers and the owner of PT. Ollop. Secondary data was gathered from the Statistic Central Board Office in the Village of Hila, Leihitu Sub District. Data were analyzed by using investment analysis. The result of the study showed that from the investment analysis could be seen that business feasibility runs of PT.Ollop is feasible because NPV was IDR. 647,224,199,86, and the IRR was 35.11 percent, the Net B/C = 1.71, Gross B/C was 1,008 and the PBP is one year and nine months. |
