Abstract:	This study was aimed to determine the ecological community adaptation strategies. The study was conducted in Negeri Lima Village, Leihitu Subdistrict, District of Maluku Tengah in April and May 2016. Locations were selected intentionally (purposive sampling) as the study area was an affected area by natural disaster. Sampling was collected by using simple random sampling method. The data collected in this study were primary data and secondary data. Data were analyzed qualitatively. The results showed that the adaptation strategies conducted by community was the ecological adaptation strategy which is maximal use of natural resources by diversifying clean water sources and by utilizing yard with seasonal plants.
