Abstract:	Purposed of this research was to examine the attitude, differences in attitudes and behavior, and factors that influence the attitudes of communities in the management of mangrove ecosystems in four villages in Teluk Ambon subdistrict. Primary data were collected from 160 respondents using a questionnaire and conducted an analysis proportion of the population, two proportion similarity test, and linear regression logit. Result of this research shows that over 60% of people in Hunuth and Tawiri villages supported this mangrove ecosystem managing system and other villages which are Laha and Poka just less than 60% who supported it. The attitude of the people who support the management of mangrove ecosystems will have a behavior support, conversely if the attitude of the community does not support the management of mangrove ecosystems would have no behavioral support. Furthermore, result indicated that determine factors of community attitude toward this managing system of mangrove ecosystem are knowledge, affiliation of each group who responsible with every village in the area, and age.
