Abstract: Aquaculture activities are an effort to manage fisheries and marine resources in addition to catch. One of this kind activities is floating net cages aquaculture. It is highly dependent on the quality of water and Inner Ambon Bay waters have potential to develop its activity. The purpose of this study is to analyze the water quality of the physical, chemical and biological, studying the sources of water pollution contained in Inner Ambon Bay, as well as analyzing the status of water quality in the Inner Ambon Bay. Water quality parameters were analyzed in situ and in the laboratory. Based on the analysis of several parameters such as temperature, pH, salinity, brightness, ammonia, DO, COD and TSS, the eligibility is still below the thresholds standard. But the value of BOD and Coliform has exceeded the specified quality standard. Some sources of pollution affecting water quality parameter values are identified from the household waste, industrial waste, sewage vessel, reclamation, agricultural waste, and microorganism waste. Storet calculation results show that the water quality in Inner Ambon Bay waters includes class D, in the bad category or has been badly polluted.
