Abstract: The fresh cakalang sellers in Binaya market are faced with fluctuation of the unstable price and the changeable quality of the fish. In order to find out the distribution activity of fresh cakalang from producer to consumer, a research through some methods of analysis is needed. The aim of this research is to analyze the marketing or distribution margin, the profit received and the cost spent by the marketing agency, and fisherman share in distributing fresh cakalang in Binaya market. Hopefully this research is useful to the interrelated institutions in managing the distribution of fresh cakalang in a better way. The analysis methods in this research are margin distribution analysis, profit analysis, cost spent by the marketing agency and fisherman share analysis. The results of the research show that there is a margin distribution difference between the cost spent and the profit received by the first and second level agency because of the season. The fisherman share of fresh cakalang distribution in Binaya market is 55,68%.
