Abstract:	This research aimed to know the relationship between the individual characteristic and the interpersonal communication behaviour, and to investigate the correlation between individual characteristic with interpersonal communication behavior and the farming behavior. The result showed that the most used interpersonal communication behavior was the communication between farmers in group. That was due to limited cost as well as several physical similarities in interaction such as value, trust, social status, and education level. There was a significant positive correlation (p < 0.01) between individual characteristic with interpersonal communication and the farming behavior.
