| Abstract: | Tropical Infection disease is still the major problem in the world, especially to tropic and sub tropic countries inclucing Indonesia. There is Soil Helminth Transmitted. it categorized in disease Tropical Infection. The Most often infection of SHT is caused by Ascaris Lumbricoides (Roundworm). Ascaris is a big intestine nematode and can be infected human by their egg. Ascaris eggs are passed in the feces of infected person. If the feces contaminated in soil, then the eggs are desposite on soil. This can happened when hands or finger that have contaminated dirt on them are put in the mouth. This study was conducted among mother of Pre School age (3-8) to acertain their knowledge of Infection of ascaris Lumbricoides. The Benefit of this study is to equal measurement for handling this Infection. Descriptive method is be used in this study. Sample selection was based on simple random sampling and data were collected with quitionare. Results of This study were the respondents had good knowledge about this case. But, relatively poor on awareness of Ascaris lumbricoides Infection and it transmitted danger. |
