Abstract: Kesui island is a center of nutmeg (Myristica fragrans) production in East Seram regency, including Karloming village. Local people generally cultivate nutmeg as primary commodity besides cloves. Three types of nutmeg are being cultivated namely round nutmeg or Banda nutmeg, long nutmeg or Irian nutmeg, and locally named passed nutmeg. The results showed that pests and diseases that attacked these nutmeg were stem borer (Batocera hercules) with 22.30% of damage intensity (light category), "spider web" disease with 27.57% damage intensity, dried fruit rot disease (Cercospora myristicae) caused 16.55% damage intensity (light category), breaking young fruit disease or physiological disease with 20.83% of damage intensity (medium category).
