| Abstract: | This study aims to identify correctly and introduce potential commodities in West Ceram regency in the development of the agricultural sector agribusiness investments in the District Elpaputih, Amalatu, Kairatu, Inamosol, Kairatu West and Huamual. Commodity that can be used as a commodity worth invested. This study uses analysis location quotient (LQ), the analysis revealed comparative advantage (RCA) and return analysis cost ratio (R/C). The analysis shows that in year 2013 there are four sectors that superior in research areas, namely agriculture sector, mining sector, processing industry sector and also electricity, gas and water supply sector by LQ index value greater than 1. The average for a superior food commodities in the district research area are maize, cassava, yams and peanuts; for vegetable commodities are dominated by commodities peppers, spinach, string beans and tomatoes in addition there are some commodities that are included in the seed as well; commodity fruits, superior mango, durian, orange, banana, jackfruit, rambutan and guava; for tree crops, which featured is a commodity cloves and chocolate, while commodities and livestock are pigs and poultry is a superior commodity. |
